Have you tried Obsidian? It’s ugly on install but the UI is infinitely adjustable with some basic CSS. Markdown backups. tldraw + excalidraw plugins. Super extendable, I can’t imagine ever leaving.
The older ones are fine. Have 2 for media PC purposes. Are they really that poorly made now?
Dope! Prototypes don’t get enough cred
Grid is such a lifesaver when I reach for it, but can often confound me when I’m not holding all the advanced layout logic in my head. Mental load is high.
