Black and white photograph of a line of men in uniforms with mules marching along a very muddy path between barren fields.

#InternationalWarAnimalDay gives us chance to share the stories of animals who served alongside our regiments over the years. This photograph shows mules of the Bradford Pals during the Battle of the Somme in 1916.
