We can only end this epidemic when we ensure EVERYONE has access to prevention and treatment care.

But more than a year into his second term, new data shows his reckless economic policies and tariff-taxes have cost Philly families $2,020 β thatβs over $168 a month!
House Democrats led a successful effort to extend the ACA tax credits.
All we need is a few Senate Republicans to join us to pass this bill.
Hear from @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social Democrats about what the GOP health care crisis means for families.
Donald Trump is a bigoted, small-minded man who has long spewed racist remarks and tried to whitewash our nationβs history. Today he finds a new low.
His recent post is vile, disgusting, and abhorrently racist. Every elected official should speak up and condemn this hate.
Is this Trumpβs A +++++ economy he keeps talking about?
05.02.2026 18:37 β π 30 π 20 π¬ 0 π 0Simply put - Donald Trump is not connected to reality.
Working people in Philly and beyond are enduring higher costs because of Trumpβs tariff-taxes and his letting health-care tax credits for 22 million Americans expire. But his billionaire buddies continue to get by just fine!
The effects of Trumpβs #ReverseRobinHood budget are ALREADY rippling through our community.
Starting this month, thousands of families in Philly are beginning to lose their critical SNAP food assistance - while the rich are enjoying huge tax breaks from the same law.
Itβs been over three weeks since House Democrats forced a winning bipartisan vote to restore ACA tax credits and lower health care costs for 500,000 Pennsylvanians.
But thanks to Senate Republicansβ inaction on these credits, health-insurance bills are skyrocketing for millions of Americans.
Americans are struggling toΒ afford the rising costs of health care, groceries, rent, utilities and more βΒ butΒ the president is focused on building an arch for himselfβ¦
03.02.2026 23:23 β π 13 π 9 π¬ 2 π 0It is clear DHS must undergo real change and reforms. After over a year of empty promises, I believe we cannot trust promises of reform from this administration.
I first need to see much-needed guardrails and protections being put into law- and therefore will be voting no on this funding package.
I stand with the vast majority of Philadelphians against the hate that was on display at a disgusting, antisemitic pro-Hamas rally yesterday at Rittenhouse Square.
I stand with both our Jewish and Muslim neighbors for peace and against violence.
Black History is American history. Period.
No matter this administrationβs continued attempts to whitewash and erase our nationβs history- this month and every month, let us honor our history through our advocacy and actions.
Secretary Kristi Noem must be held accountable for her dangerous, lawless policies and reckless leadership of DHS.
Trump must fire her now, or she must be impeached!
Rather than working to make your life more affordable, President Trump is suing the IRS for $10 BILLION of your taxpayer dollars. Thatβs enough for a $6,353 check for every Philadelphian, including every child!
I and my Democratic colleagues will keep fighting his backwards, corrupt priorities!
Senate Democrats must continue holding the line to get the DHS bill rewritten with major protections for Americans. And Speaker Johnson must call the House back quickly if that happens - Americans need reform and accountability, not another Republican-created government shutdown! (2/2)
29.01.2026 21:47 β π 16 π 4 π¬ 1 π 0Like I said today in a press conference with @congressmanboyle.bsky.social: DHS funding should NOT pass the Senate in its current form.
Americans deserve real accountability, oversight, and reforms for this departmentβs lawlessness under Trump! (1/2)
Working Philadelphians have seen their costs going up as Trump spent his first year back in office imposing tariff-taxes on food, clothing and more.
But he has made sure to take care of his billionaire buddies!
Yesterdayβs attack on Rep. Omar and last weekβs attack on Rep. Frost are completely reprehensible. Letβs be clear- Donald Trumpβs and his allies' dangerous rhetoric has real consequences.
Iβm relieved my colleagues are safe. Political violence must have no place in America- period.
Budgets are a statement of priorities and values.
In his Big Ugly Budget, Donald Trump slashed funding from Medicaid and SNAP food aid. That same lawΒ created a $75 BILLION slush fund for an agency operating without guardrailsΒ and terrorizing our communities.
Donald Trumpβs reckless policies are tanking our economy- and the American people know it.
27.01.2026 23:06 β π 67 π 29 π¬ 0 π 1Senate Republicans can and should separate DHS funding from their budget package β Americans need accountability, not another Republican government shutdown. (2/2)
27.01.2026 21:49 β π 36 π 10 π¬ 2 π 0As ICE and CBP continue acting lawlessly, placing lives at risk β we need real accountability and reform.
Thatβs why PAβs 7 House Democrats have a simple message for our two senators: oppose any funding for DHS that does not include meaningful, enforceable reforms to these agencies. (1/2)
Donald Trump must fire Kristi Noem immediately.
Or Democrats will initiate impeachment proceedings against her in the House.
We can do this the easy way or the hard way.
On this International Holocaust Remembrance Day, let us honor and mourn the six million Jewish victims and countless others murdered during the Holocaust.
Let us never forget the lessons of history and continue fighting antisemitism, racism, and hatred in every form.
A bunch of Republican senators have issued statements of concern re: Alex Pretti's killing, including calling for an investigation.
The only action I've seen one of them take beyond concern tweets, however, is Rand Paul calling a public hearing for Feb. 12.
They hold all of the leverage.
Simply put β Renee Good and Alex Pretti should still be alive today.
Law enforcement officers are supposed to protect and serve our communities, and ICE is horrifically and lawlessly failing on both counts. If Kristi Noem wonβt resign, she must be impeached!
