Celium in the City

Nope, just found ones people have forgotten lol

The counter of a coffee shop with some patrons and the coffee bar seen on either side. In the center is a lamp, made of stamped metal and a shade of some fabric with tassels around the rim.

Hanging from the top of a lamp shade are found reading glasses. The shade I self is constructed in panels with fancy stitching connecting the panels. The fabric has a floral print, not in color but in thread. The lamp shade is self is cream in color.

A closer look at the tassels of the lamp shade, and the stamped metal of the lamp itself. A skeleton hangs below it on the left hand side of the photo.

This morning I walked to my local coffee shop, and while waiting for my order this lamp caught my eye. Not a typical lamp and shade you see anymore, however I prefer it to the mass produced "modern" styles seen more often. #Photography #StreetPhotography #Photo #Art #EastCoastKin #StillLife

A view of the bridge before entering Bde Maka Ska from the water way connector off Lake of the Isles. Bde Maka Ska means "White Earth Lake" or "White Bank Lake". The lake was named Lake Calhoun, after a prominent pro-slavery political, but restored to the Indigenous name in 2018. The bridge is made of stone and grey brick, and the arch is reflected off the water. Looking through the bridge a sail boat can be seen, as well as the path that leads from Lake of the Isles to Bde Maka Ska. The trees in the photo around the bridge and across the lake are shades of yellow, green and red as fall arrives in the Twin Cities.
