Shamanism is a sort of ritualistic, often drug-induced dream-like state where you literally see and communicate with spirits, both good and evil

And I don't mean memories from pictures on the Internet. I mean like details of someone's house...from halfway across the country.

You can swear you've never been there and were never there but you can remember it like you spent a lot of time there. That's a classic indicator you astrally projected to that place.

Those who believe in Astral Projection, believe that people can willingly put themselves into a trance-like state and project themselves to other places.

One example I can give, is if you somehow vividly remember in great detail someplace you've never been before.

Those who believe in extra-sensory perception believe that some people can sense things beyond the range of our normal physical senses. The so-called "gut feeling" is one example of that. It's a bit more than but also includes the so-called "sixth sense".

The most realistic thing I can use to describe that is the so-called "twin intuition", where one twin always seems to know what's happening with the other twin even if they are not anywhere near each other.

If you're talking about things like being able to understand someone just by being in their presence, or knowing what they are thinking just by the energy they give off, that would be Parapsychology

"The Paranormal" or "Parapsychology" deals more with things like "twin intuition", being able to sense the presence of and/or communicate with spirits, that stuff.

My understanding of metaphysics is more along the lines of it being the umbrella term for things like extra-sensory perception, out-of-body experiences like Astral Projection, Shamanism, and the various forms of Magick like Seidr

Eh. I wasn't aware metaphysics dealt with philosophical stuff. I was only ever aware of it dealing with paranormal stuff

I'm not sure what you mean by that. When people talk about the metaphysical, I always assume that they are talking about psychics, magick, and the paranormal
