A straggling Woodlark behind a flock of 60 Skylarks became the latest addition to the species list at Clifton pits today. Co found with @robclipson.bsky.social #WorcsBirds

Two strikes in seven days with two lovely Rock Pipits giving fab views as they preened and dried atop fence posts after bathing in a channel off Clifton main pit last week. And today a cracking Black-necked Grebe diving just off the west shore in the morning sun, red eye and all!

I’ve seen a handful of Turnstones at Clifton, but never actually found one myself. So I was chuffed to find a summer plumage bird feeding along the east shore of the main pit this morning. Also 6 Black Terns, a Ruff and Greenshank still. #WorcsBirds #BirdingCentral

Totally get this. I’ve been very fortunate to visit a few far flung places, and would always peruse the local bird guide while enjoying afternoon tea β˜•οΈπŸ°

Great to find only my 2nd Marsh Harrier at Clifton Pits this morning, and even better to know it was tracked down by @midlandsbirder.bsky.social in Worcester.
