A double boiler cooks a bright yellow glob of broad leaf plantain infused oil, beeswax and Shea butter, with a healthy glug of lavender oil. My stove top could use a good scrubbing.
Crunchy girl weekend! Drying herbs, making salves and sourdough. Drinking tea and doing a final proof read of my novel! Had a glorious nap with the cat while the rain came down after teaching a knitting lesson and attending a friend's art show. Love my solo weekends.

It's Lent!
I am not remotely Catholic, but I love the concept of forty days of self-improvement.
I'll be spending the next forty days doing tasks (big and small) that I've been putting off- a mental decluttering, if you will.
