Sitting here among 18,500 people who filled Barclays on a frigid Monday night to watch women’s hoops with like 3 weeks notice, all I can think is…

Anyone who can’t make stacks of money selling this product should get the fuck out of the money making business

Does anyone know which WNBA owners support a BRI revenue sharing model like the NBA has and which ones are against it?

I really believe Sue Bird isn't fighting against the players. We've heard about a split between the owners and it sounds like Seattle, New York, Indiana, Phoenix and Golden State have owners who want to invest in players and who are probably more open to a revenue sharing structure like the NBA's.

How much would I love to see Paige and Dom playing together in the W? SO MUCH.

Is ANYONE rooting for the Mist over the Breeze? Not according to my timeline. 😀🎉

I’m really starting to think Annie Costabile is a hack. This is not the first time she’s exaggerated the intent and meaning of players’ comments to make them seem more controversial or “news worthy.”

#Unrivaled had a 66% increase in revenue from last season, and their commissioner very pointedly emphasized that “It's a natural byproduct of putting the players and the fans first."

I’m confused about why some WNBA reporters are writing things like, “the players tone has changed” in recent days. Kelsey Plum’s actual quote was, “obviously a strike would be the worst thing for both sides.”

What’s new? Everyone has been saying that exact same thing since day one.

I know. What I don’t understand is why? Repeatedly making concessions hasn’t worked so far. They need to just walk already.

Skylar Diggins attempts to debunk the messy bun vs slick bun conspiracy. “Sometimes big mama just ain’t polished that day.”

Nice try, Sky. My faith in the messy bun theory persists!

Some WNBA players back away from talk of strike as clock ticks on CBA deadline Multiple WNBA players on Monday struck down the idea of striking, with one high-ranking union executive going as far as saying a “strike would be the worst thing.”

The newest league proposal still sucks. No movement on gross revenue sharing. They REALLY don’t want to open the books, huh?

“The biggest changes include a slight increase to the league’s proposed 2026 salary cap and an accelerated path for star players on rookie contracts to earn maximum paydays.”

The Important Thing Is to Win! Connecting Richard Nixon to the History of NBA Labor Negotiations

The WNBA players are now just asking for 26% of revenue. This is down from 27.5%.
www.espn.com/wnba/story/_...

According to the NBA/WNBA owners math, the player just gave up $70 million. Or $100 million.

Yes, the NBA's own numbers tell different stories.

To me, it appears that the supremacy of Caitlin Clark is the made up "media narrative." Other players are just a lot more interesting and impressive to me - both on the court and off - than she is.

Trump snubbed as U.S. Women’s Hockey Team declines State of the Union invitation Olympic champions opt out of high-profile White House moment, citing scheduling conflicts

NEWS: The gold medal–winning U.S. Women’s Hockey Team has declined an invitation to attend Trump’s State of the Union.

This comes after Trump was heard telling the men’s team he’d begrudgingly invite the women’s champions or risk impeachment.

Hmm… Which of the following “enticing perks” is the WNBA most likely to next offer the players in its effort to close the CBA deal?

A. Coupon for Olive Garden’s never ending soup, salad & breadsticks.

B. 1 entry into HGTV’s Dream Home Sweepstakes

C. Clinique free gift with $55 purchase.
