Yeah Kiltie was a real nuisance for Aberdeen. Phillips has possibly been our best player since joining.

John Beaton had another weird one today. He's on a different planet sometimes.

Was nice to see Balcombe get an assist. He seems the kind of player that thrives off confidence. When we went through that bad run he didn't seem as switched on but he's been much better of late.

The team pressed Aberdeen quite aggressively today and didn't make their substitutions till quite late on. The level of fitness in the squad must be high.

Fantastic performance from St Mirren today, thoroughly deserved the win. It's hard picking out any stand-out players because the victory came from being a well gelled team. Elvis though was really creative and Phillips was all over the pitch as usual.

Might be a good atmosphere today with an extra hour in the pub for some fans.

UPDATE: Following discussions between the two clubs, the authorities and match referee, it has been agreed that we will work towards a provisional 4pm kick-off with a final pitch inspection to take place at 2:55pm.

Turnstiles will now open at 3pm.

I would definitely like to keep Taylor till the end of the season for a European push. I think Olusanya would be easier to replace if we get an offer in for him.

They'll both be massive loses. Olusanya has scored so many memorable goals and Taylor, for me, is a fantastic defender. They have always given their all when they are on the pitch.

Olusanya or Taylor not expected to sign new St Mirren deals The English duo have become key players for the Buddies but their deals are due to expire at the end of this season.

It's looking like Olusanya and Richard Taylor won't be here next year and might even go in January.

You're probably right. I just feel the other two were flashier and got important goals in the cup run.

Gonçalves and Newton, for obvious reasons. Zack Hemming was great. He helped create the feel good factor around the club last season.

Declan John has joined on a short term deal to provide cover at left wing back. He has played for a host of clubs down south, not sure if he has ever played in Scotland.

Happy enough to have Tanser as the first choice full back now.

So the Jaden Brown saga is over. A good decision for everyone imo. Looking at all his offences was like watching a guy digging a deeper and deeper hole for himself.
I do think he was one of our best players at the start of the season, quick down the wing and a great final ball.
