As a fan of this series, I am excited to watch this upcoming Season. While I didn't love the third as much as the first two, as it was not as realistic for others to replicate, it was still exciting to watch.

This year, I celebrated the so-called "Double Nickle." My ever-supportive wife gave me the greatest gift — "to get lost!" So I did my best in Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico.

This year, the free day is April 19th. This can be a great day to visit, but if you are an NPS Passholder, it might be a good day to avoid the park crowds.
Cloudy Blood Moon

Full Moon before Lunar Eclipse
Doing my best to stay up to see the upcoming Blood Moon. There are many interpretations of the Blood moon- but many Indigenous North Americans see this as a time for reflection, renewal, and storytelling.
That’s the one I’m going to embrace.
I am putting together a trip down in a couple of weeks and just added this to the list. Hope to get to nearby King of Wings as well.

I Love Gallup — it's such an overlooked part of New Mexico by tourists who hear about Taos, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque — all great. Still, everyone should take the time to visit Gallup and other notable towns throughout NM to see more culture and art throughout this great state.
