As much as I don’t think this is a great Citeh team, if anyone can drag a team across the line it’s Pep. They are defensively average but I think they have enough in attack.

No one with any sense suggested last season was ‘Arsenal vs themselves’. Not sure where you’ve got that from. The feeling was “oh there’s another injury to a key player and our bench isn’t good enough”.

I think we’ve been pretty unfortunate with the quality of the goals we’ve conceded, quite a few have been bangers…as shown by the xg. I think the issue is that we don’t provide ourselves enough of a cushion when these low probability shots go in.

Agree, irrespective of the final score the performance was absolute trash. We’ve been off it for a while now.
