Here’s my occasional reminder that if you get long COVID, resources are scarce. All of the decent doctors treating it have waitlists three years long or aren’t taking new patients at all. Autonomic testing is a bitch to schedule and isn’t widely available.

But on long covid awareness day, I encourage you to watch this.
It is real. It is life altering.
It’s International Long Covid Awareness Day.
One of the best things you can do to support people with Long Covid is wear a mask (ideally a respirator like an N95).
Masks break chains of transmission.
They prevent infection.
The only way to avoid Long Covid is to avoid Covid!
On second thought, maybe pizza, a honey & cinnamon latte with cold foam, scallops with risotto, apple pie and then Doritos WON'T make for a day whenmy stomach feels great.

Our governments abandoned us re: COVID. And think about it logically for a minute: What’s the off-ramp here? It looks increasingly like the human body cannot withstand yearly infections w/ no end in sight without harm. It’s fully up to you to protect yourself. It shouldn’t be this way, but it is.
You don't get to paper over the fact that they are bigots. They knowingly wanted to strip minorities and women of any historical representation. They killed projects simply because they had ethnic identities and genders attached.
