Very busy day at the studio today making some ornaments for a Christmas fair. The only problem is that the dinos are so cute I’m not going to want to sell them. 😂

Slip decoration on vase. Haven’t decided if I’m going to glaze in clear, a celadon, or just leave the outside unglazed. Thoughts?

Large clay bowl trimmed with deep foot ring.

This started as the bottom of a three-part vase, but it really wanted to be a giant bowl (started with 3.4 kg of clay). I'm pleased with the foot ring. 😊

Glaze fired! I'm pretty happy with all of them, but I may use a different glaze in place of Oatmeal as it is too close to the clay color.

My sake set came out of bisque. Glazed it tonight and it’s back in line for the kiln. Each cup is glazed in obsidian celadon on the inside and ringed with a different color (smokey merlot, oatmeal, seaweed, blue rutile) and the bottle has all four on the spout. Interested to see how it comes out!

Tried a little galaxy glaze. It looks WAY more subtle in person without the flash. It's... ok, but I think I need to do more tests.
