One highlight of the week was an inspiring poster session, accompanied by illustrations from Women in Science presented by Angelika Manhart.

The series featured scientists such as Barbara McClintock, Maryam Mirzakhani, Tebello Nyokong and many others.

The workshop Modelling Diffusive Systems: Theory & Biological Applications, organised by Valeria Giunta, Annalisa Iuorio, Angelika Manhart and Cinzia Soresina, has come to an end. The goal was to bring together different communities to explore diffusive systems from multiple perspectives.

On this day 100 years ago, January 27, 1926, Erwin Schrödinger published the first of a series of seminal papers introducing the Schrödinger equation, the cornerstone of #quantum mechanics. ⚛️
How did a single equation reshape our understanding of nature, driving innovation a century later? ⤵️
