Thanks for the info! I've never played Sword and Shield, so I was going off a brief skim of the wiki. There was something about Galar being the only region without Legendaries at the time of its release, and I somehow read that as 'no Legendaries ever', lol.

Such peaceful neighbors! But when their friends are threatened, it is another matter. I called them guardians, for guardians they are. They sleep through thunder and snow alike; but their people have flutes of strange design, and with these can wake their protectors with but a few short notes.

And the giants are not choosy. They do not demand the best of the land be saved for them, but are well content with plants inedible to others, or offal, or even spoiled fruit; their stomachs are strong and mighty indeed, and gain nutrients from anything given to them.

Do not fear! These giants are gentle guardians. They wake but twice a year, at harvest and in spring, to fill their bellies. Yet while their appetites are vast indeed, the people of the valley feed them gladly; the peace and bounty they guard provides enough food for all.

How, you ask? Why, 'tis the hills! Their name is pure truth: their rumble is no mere groaning of the earth or odd echo of caves. It is the snoring of the giants who lie beneath, their slumber so long and deep that they have been covered by soil and growing things.

Ah, the Snoring Slopes! 'Tis a strange and bountiful land. One quickly grows accustomed to the constant rumble; with it comes peace. Those who dwell there, human and Pokemon alike, live without fear of Team Rocket. Team Magma troubles not their forests; Team Aqua avoids their lakes.
