Narcissistic cognitive distance/ rumination/… good empathetic people can’t believe another human being could be evil and narcissistic… it’s our empathy that gets us in trouble ( even though it’s a blessed trait) it’s just makes us susceptible to bad people/leaders that play on those sympathies
