Shocking
My thoughts exactly
Getting to know my neighbours, the 'Belties' or Belted Galloway cattle. They seem friendly enough - they are welcome here.
Merry Christmas Cherry! Growing as a #PavementPlant in #BuryStEdmunds. (Solanum pseudocapsicum)

Shocked by these comments that seem to originate from centuries past
Looking up into the crown of a much-loved ancient Small-leaved Lime coppice stool in Old Sulehay Forest on a gloomy grey day, the remaining leaves gradually changing from green to clear-yellow.

Good question - it's just on my mobile phone that I keep so many tabs open so it's not an issue. Currently have 62 tabs open!
I admit I'm in the 3% - I keep the tabs open just in case but I rarely use most of them

Join me in Cambridge on 26 August at 6pm for a talk about Endemic — my journey to meet Britain’s unique species.
I’ll share stories from the book and extra tales that didn’t make it into print, including a spotlight on Cambridge’s very own endemic buttercup! 🌼

Found in a small nature area near Shaftsbury Road opposite the Botanical Gardens in #Cambridge. First is cowslip and the second might be a Campanula or perhaps Harebell? #WildflowerID #wildflowerhour
£500m for a single driving bypass - more than Active Travel England's entire budget
One of the lesser appreciated things about Cambridge (UK) is what a green and generally nature friendly city it is.
I don't mean the largely biodiversity poor manicured green of the university Colleges (though some like King's are making some effort). I mean the network of Commons and LNRs 🧵
That's okay - you know for next time now :-)
This has happened to me before for seasonal items so I usually order them a few weeks in advance to avoid disappointment

Thank you for the correction! I am new to this so appreciate the help.
Though not #woodlandplants found these striking Marsh Marigolds and White Comfrey near Coldham's Brook chalk stream for #Wildflowerhour
I took this photo less than 10 years after the deer fence behind was erected. Before it went up, the land behind was just grass, exactly like the foreground where he sheep are.
*Nothing* was planted here.
"It's not rocket science" is an understatement.
