I still find this fascinating: 33% of all Viewing Hours on Netflix come from... the five largest global studios.

It makes sense: Disney, NBCU, WBD, Sony, Paramount own the most successful TV libraries in the world— shows that are impossible to replicate, especially when it comes to longevity.

WBD's stock is up nearly 20% since last Friday, thanks to a one-two punch: renewing their carriage deal with Comcast in the US and the UK—avoiding rate rollbacks for linear channels and setting up Max's UK launch—and today, announcing a restructuring that hints at spinning off their linear channels.

Nielsen reported all-time viewing share highs for both streaming (41.6%) and YouTube (10.8%) in November (a short month, ending on the last Sunday 11/24). Amazon Prime Video came close to its prior all-time high with 3.7%.
