Black History Month is good & important, but the underlying research desperately needs *funding*. There’s SO MUCH low-hanging fruit in unresearched & underresearched major figures, movements, & trends in Black history, but work that can only be done with consistent & substantial funding.

I’m trying to follow this: when it was Black and Hispanic students and elite college admissions the argument was “merit” but when it’s Asian students it’s a rejection of “Asian educational norms” that lead White students to attend less selective Southern universities? 🤯🤔🧐🥴

There is a case to be made that any board of a university that signed an agreement that required paying a fee has breached their fiduciary duty and I think somebody should explore it
