Tonight's pictures are of the Koules or Castello a Mare ("Fort on the Sea" in Italian) is a fortress located at the entrance of the old port of Heraklion, Crete, Greece. It was built by the Republic of Venice in the early 16th century.

Today's pictures are from The Palace of Knossos (an archaeological site on the island of Crete, Greece, that was the center of the Minoan civilization and is famously linked to the myth of the Labyrinth and the Minotaur)

Just finished this 4 part series and it was such a lovely, funny show. But also heartwarming which I didn't expect. Plus who doesn'tlike Joe? Wish there was more!
