The center cannot hold and I hope a reckoning is coming.

I’ve had some tough days in my career but being one of 5 staff (and only part time) for a food pantry when the govt said today they are taking away food benefits for 40 million people might be the hardest of them all.

I can guarantee you know someone who relies on food benefits, you know someone coming into food banks and pantries to feed their children, themselves, their elderly parents, and so on. When they hear you perpetuate false narratives - they know you think less of them because they are hungry.
