Too many people, including some news media, let the truth be trampled upon without thought for what is happening to us and our nation.

Please read and share. The β€œgrassroots” support for the SAVE America Act is a lie. The campaign pushing this bill is being run by Cleta Mitchell and Scott Presler, two of the most notorious election deniers in the country.

Someone in NYC should do interviews with middle-school kids who take the subway to and from school every day, to see if they have any advice for Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy who can't seem to go a single day without pissing himself in fear over them.

that's horrible. My elementary school library was a godsend for me.

Going to volunteer at our elementary library today to cover books.

The library tech is a friend who is losing her job thanks to fiscal mismanagement at the district.

It’s hard continuing to put on a brave face knowing there will be no library access next year.

A dozen bags of used cat litter stuffed into a badly made suit could have done better.

the best thing about reading books is everything. some books are gonna make me think about all MY life choices. others are gonna make me think about the CHARACTERS' life choices. some are wild rides i gobble up in one sitting. others take longer and make me feel drunk on story when done.

Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series is coming to an end. I'm doing my yearly reread in preparation for the next book.

I'm trying very, very hard not to cry thinking about the end of this series...

I'm starting to think if I say "ICE has not left Minnesota" (which of course is true!) I should also say "ICE has not left Chicago" and "ICE has not left LA" because I think the point is that ICE wants to occupy a lot of places at this scale so that it just becomes reality, it's not just Minnesota.

Dutch translation of original skeet:
Al adviseert: Boost je immuunsysteem door knoflook in je anus te stoppen.

Also, Dutch totally not beating the allegations of being a fake language.

I had bloodwork that showed consistent, low-level bleeding SOMEWHERE in my body. In an attempt to find it, I had a colonoscopy.

I did not have cancer. What I had was a polyp so big it was gonna be A Problem. I could have claimed this sucker as a dependent on my taxes.

Get your tests done, people.

ICE etc have not left Minneapolis, no matter what mainstream media tells you. And Jacob Frey is useless. Every media outlet who propped him up during all of this should feel deeply ashamed.

Or that somehow, "it's not that bad." I'm like, really? Tell me about your church's armed security guard, then.

I've met so many Christians who don't "believe it" when I explain about the locked doors and the security guard and that it's not "just for the holidays. "

In a more just world the fact that a man with a loaded gun rammed his car into a synagogue and got out to shoot everyone before being taken down by security would *at the very least* be a trending topic On Here but y’all can’t seem to muster more then a few re-posts.

a while back a guy I knew was trying to justify having gone to Curtis Yarvin's wedding, and his girlfriend said "Don't you find him thrillingly contrarian' and I said 'That's how boring people excuse being racist'

The Iconic Civil Rights Protest You Don't Know | American Experience | PBS Meet the protesters whoΒ crawled their way into historyβ€”and changed how all Americans live.

Today is the 36th anniversary of the Capitol Crawl and disabled people are still fighting for basic rights in a society that's actively working to undermine them, surrounded by systemic disablism.

(This is a corrected thread TY to the person who flagged that I said 26th, not 36th!)

Two unmarked grey cargo vans with US flag printed caskets with dead troops killed in another illegal war in the middle east stacked inside kind of haphazardly and arguably disrespectfulfully

Pst hey kid, you wanna see the world?
