This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office.
2) Elected officials rewrite the rules in the donors' favor.
3) Donors make a huge profit.
4) Repeat.

For the sake of democracy, we must get Big Money out of politics.

The rich go free with no consequences.

There’s a nonzero chance you will die from a cancer that could have been curable because people who couldn’t pass 7th grade biology and are scared of things like “mRNA” and “riboflavin” and “walkable cities” decided to make their ignorance everybody else’s problem

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Think about how insane this is. I know we normalize every abnormal thing Trump does, & he floods the zone & numbs us, but a leading media organizing rolling over & agreeing to pay $16m to the president because he didn’t like how they edited an interview?? What country is this?

The fourth IRS Commissioner since January is already out. Gary Shapley was installed in the position by Elon Musk without the knowledge or agreement of Scott Bessent, the Treasury Secretary who oversees IRS. Shapley was announced for the position on April 16, and out by April 18 after Bessent pushed back against Musk usurping his powers. Musk has since attacked Bessent on social media. He will be replaced by another acting Commissioner until Billy Long is confirmed.

The IRS will be on its fifth Commissioner since January. It turns out that the new acting Commissioner, announced 2 days ago, was selected by Musk.

This is RIDICULOUS. Why ON EARTH would they do this??? I swear, they want to bankrupt us. And that should make it clear they do NOT have the best interests of Americans at heart.

I would add to that list "isolation" - convincing viewers that other media are biased and therefore untrustworthy and those sources must be actively avoided.
