I have no memory of the 1975 Super Bowl but I’m beginning to understand what it must have been like to watch it.

Found one of the old clips. Have another but this one happened to be on top of my pile ha. Anyway, just sad news today about that sports department.

When I first started out I did a lot of freelance work, especially covering college basketball games for out-of-town papers - including the Washington Post. Was proud they used me. I also know a lot of people who worked in that sports dept. The rumors sadden me. #SaveThePost

Trying to imagine what I would have said if someone told me Indiana was going to win the national title in 2026 after losing to Wisconsin 83-20 in 2010. Or 59-7 in 2011. Or 62-10 in 2012. Or 51-3 in 2013. Or 45-17 in 2017. Heck, the Hoosiers were 3-9 two seasons ago! Amazing.

Second career receiving touchdown for Jackson Acker (and quite the catch). Other came Nov. 18, 2023 at home vs. Nebraska.

Correction: Changed to 67 yards.

That 68-yard play was a career-high reception for Vinny Anthony (previous: 63; this season: 31) and career-high pass for Hunter Simmons (previous: 42). Also, great stiff-arm by Anthony. #Badgers

I hope that field-goal try was tipped for the kicker’s sake. Otherwise that was some 1970s flashback there.

One year ago I just got back from an 11-day stay at the hospital due to double pneumonia, sepsis and rhabdo. It knocked me down and almost out. Am extremely fortunate to still be here. I remain thankful to both my sons, who really stepped up ...

Fans rushing the field after beating Illinois sums up the season.

This definitely qualifies as a good win. I dare say best of the season for Wisconsin. Defense was superb. Offense did enough.

Wisconsin, which entered the week 135th in the nation in yards per game, has reached 300 yards total offense for the third time this season (also did it in the first two games). #Badgers

Darrion Dupree 11 rushes, 121 yards, 2 TD

It's an offensive explosion! Wisconsin reaches 20 points for the second time this season (other: 42 vs. Middle Tennessee State in the second game). The #Badgers had 27 points combined in the previous five games.

Dupree's run is tied for the 11th-longest in #Badgers history

Darrion Dupree's 84-yard TD was the longest run for Wisconsin since Chez Mellusi had an 89-yard run vs. Buffalo on Sept. 2, 2023. Dupree's longest rush this season was 17 yards. Last year he had one for 32.

Other than a frustrating loss of 3 by the QB instead of throwing it away, that was a very impressive opening drive by the #Badgers. 16 plays, 80 yards, had to go off script, I'm guessing.
