So Canada has responded with 25% tariffs on the USA in kind, but are targeting only goods sourced from "Red/MAGA" states. So I guess California is ok?

If I where Canada, id be making some kind of play for a free trade agreement with China. China is still a massive consumer of energy, including oil, its probably not cost effective until now
Its official USA tariff on Canada, 25% on everything except energy @10%. With the threat that it will be increased if Canada imposes retaliatory Tariffs on USA exports. The rest of the world now watching intently, it all seems like the twilight zone.
