YouTube on the other hand will rank videos that did well higher so people can continue to find them throughout the years so it feels like the effort pays off longer.

It is a little disheartening how much time and effort I will sometimes spend on a reel and after 2-3 days the viewership drops significantly. Basically even if a reel goes viral, it usually won’t be shown to audiences after the initial wave. 👇
