“A foundational rule of computer security is to never create a ‘single point of failure,’ meaning a centralized system or node whose compromise wld cause widespread damage.” The Trump administration’s “SAVE” voter purge system—an underreported key part of the “Save America Act”—violates this rule.
Ok, I see that now. No blue check and only 5 posts. Thank you 😊
🤔
I was just thinking this might be the case. And, if this is what happened, it's most likely that AI was going by outdated mapping info which did not label the building as a school & that is Anthropics' point.
No, I think Karp means what he says, nationalization - govt taking control of the technology to prevent loss of so many jobs & ensure unlimited military use. However, I think he's overreacting, much like he thinks workers (& Dems) are overreacting. Regulation would be the best stabilizing measure.
If we're talking 30+ unit commanders saying this, it's obviously coming from the top. Two commanders at separate locations could be a coincidence. 30+ suggests a policy.

"The latest employment report just came out... and this is my worried face."
Talarico's policy priorities are not really centrist. Both candidates are strong & fight for policies to rebuild the middle class, support the poor, restore a just justice system, & work toward sound climate policies. Aside from the question of WWJD, there's very little light between them, if any.
Considering almost 3M adults (18 yrs & older) die each yr in the US, it makes sense that a relatively large number may still show up on voter rolls at any given time. That doesn't mean anyone is voting for someone who recently died.
This is some f'd up twisting of Civil Rights Act.
'US Ed Dept said The PhD Project (non-profit that helps racial minorities earn doctorate degrees) “unlawfully limits eligibility based on race,” violating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, often excluding white & Asian Amer students.'
And now she's wiped out! 😂 Nice bday present.
And I don't know about everyone else, but I certainly don't have an extra $1300 to spend on additional taxes.
Call your Senators to vote NO on the SAVE Act. They are well aware that undocumented immigrants do not vote & study after study has confirmed this. This is not a voter ID law. This will disenfranchise a large swath of voters, esp married women, older folks & disabled ppl, adoptees…
Higher tariffs, labor and health-insurance costs have pushed many businesses to raise prices. SCOTUS needs to rule against trump on tarriffs soon or 2026 is going to be a really bad year for the majority of us who aren't mega wealthy.

Tell your Senators to vote NO on the so-called Save America Act: 202-224-3121. The bill is blatantly dangerous. Thanks. #NoOnSave #ProtectOurVotes
Thing is, no one knows if DOGE or anyone else has access to SSA info since DOGE copied all the info outside the secure SSA sys, which we only know abt because they had to admit it in court. They said they removed it from wherever it was copied, but does anyone believe that?

No, you'd be able to vote as usual. My understanding is new requirements are for registering to vote: 1st time registrants; those who move & register in new state; newly naturalized citizens; those erroneously purged from voter roll who must re-register; newly married women registered w maiden name…
These type policies were available pre-ACA (before insurers were forced to comply with certain requirements) and people were routinely going bankrupt due to catastrophic medical events or because pre-existing issues weren't covered. Who wants to go back to that period in time except insurance cos?

Bill Barr's father was head of a prestigious NY private school. He hired 20 yo college dropout Epstein to teach high school math and physics. So Bill Barr knew Epstein since the early 70s.
That's how it should be, but the Republican party in the US is always passing or trying to pass laws to make it harder and costlier to vote.
The so-called Save America Act will force 21 million American citizens to produce passports or birth certificates just to register to vote. Most do not have them ready. Turning paperwork into a barrier is a poll tax by another name. #HandsOffHerVote social.demcast.com/s/L9X3k1fQ
Do you pay for the electoral ID or is it provided to everyone 18 or older by the government?
This article's revelation definitely reinforces my belief that I posted yesterday. It's coming.

I was thinking something similar yesterday after reading the Reuters article about Gabbard's Puerto Rico elections "investigation" related to conspiracies about Venezuela. Trump will pressure Delcy Rodríguez (now leader of VZ) to say Maduro was involved in hacking 2020 election.
I have to wonder, based on initial whisteblower date in June, if this ties into Puerto Rico "investigation" &, maybe, subsequent invasion of Venezuela. We learned yesterday Gabbard confiscated voting machines/ballots from PR in May supposedly to investigate conspiracy of VZ hacking voting machines.
I believe you succeed, @justinwolfers.bsky.social, at making this a better place - and a smarter one, too, mate!
⚠️ This is alarming. Potential Social Security breach by DOGE early last year exposed by a whisteblower in August, made public last month in court filings by SSA. Every citizen's most sensitive data is at risk.
