This guy defended OJ Simpson and Jeffrey fucking Epstein.

He should be refused service everywhere for the rest of his miserable, bottom feeding life.

Say what you will about some of the individual films, but I find it altogether awesome that Liam Neeson is a 73 year old action and comedy star.

For my vote, the most reliable director currently working is Jaume Collet-Serra. This guy effortlessly jumps genres, goes back and forth between big studio films and mid-budget thrillers, and always turns out something interesting and character based. He's the modern Larry Cohen.

Revisiting Alexandre Aja's enormously entertaining PIRANHA 3D, and it remains a campy, gory blast with zero pretensions that knows exactly what it is. Jerry O'Connell kills it as a sleazy Girls Gone Wild-esque producer, and the final act is glorious bloody fun. Total party film. Love it!

I've stayed friends with almost all my exes, because my breakups have almost always been amicable. So I'm meeting up with an ex, who is still one of my best friends, for an excellent dinner at a fabulous Italian restaurant in Toluca Lake tonight. Can't wait.

Rewatched the fist couple eps of XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS. Rarely has someone had the burning charisma and immediate star quality displayed by Lucy Lawless. She commands the screen from her very first moment. She should've been a much bigger star than she is.

This was part of Universal's Action Pack, which did a number of movies that included VANISHING SON, TEKWAR, prequels to SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT and the five HERCULES movies that led to the 90s series.

Watching ANOTHER MIDNIGHT RUN, the first of three (!) 90s made for TV sequels to the OG classic. Christopher MacDonald takes over the De Niro role, and I have to say... it's surprisingly decent. Not on the original's level, but the tone's right, and acting's solid. Gonna check out the next two soon!

Finally watching STARGATE SG-1 for the first time, as so many friends love it. It's fun, light scifi that doesn't require strict attention. I also chuckle at their cost cutting... pretty much every alien is a humanoid and every offworld planet a section of the Canadian woods and hillside.

Absolutely agreed. I have something in the neighborhood of 3500 discs, and they are staying on my shelves.

Got the 25th Anniversary Remastered blu-ray set of the brilliant FARSCAPE, which I haven't watched since it aired. Lord, I miss big scifi shows that ran for 22 episode seasons, didn't cost 500 million dollars for unnecessary CGI, and weren't afraid to get weird.

We need those today!

Well HELLO South Park! Been a while since the show registered on my radar, but tonight's Trump/Epstein episode was scathing and hilarious. Nice callbacks to the movie too, with Trump becoming Satan's newest lover.

I knew Lorraine Warren pretty well, as I worked with her on THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT. Nice enough lady. Total scam artist. I saw Annabelle close up and touched the doll. I'm still alive 16 years later.

This makes for a good story, but it's total nonsense.
