So if I were you, from this example thumbnail I'd ditch the pig and your own logo and make the AI text the biggest and lightest thing on the thumbnail and then maybe include the game's logo there, but that could be included in the title as well 🤔Just sharing my thoughts on it, hope it helps at all 😭

then to your character's skin, because these things are light on a darker background. Then to the logo, then to the game name and then the very last thing I notice is the AI thing, which would be your "hook" to click the video. And you should try to make the hook the focus. (3/4)

And also color theory is your best friend! The eye is always drawn to the place with highest contrast, so using light colors on a dark image (for example) also help with directing where your audience should be looking at. In your example my focus is drawn to the pig first and (2/4)

This specific thumbnail was not for a game but for a "storytime". I have a small audience already in Youtube 🤔 I would say the text in your example is too hard to read unfortunately yes, think about what you want to convey the most with the thumbnail and make it the focus point of it! (1/4)

I added my own thumbnail here as an example... It conveys a mood/emotion, the text is big and bold and it conveys something about the video that makes you go "Oh, what's the story behind this?". So think of a funny moment for example from your video and spin that into the thumbnail!
