But what about grocery shopping at a co-op or farmers’ market instead of Wal-Mart? What about support for mom & pops and organizations that directly aid the needy?

This abuse of capitalism is instead bringing back feudalism.
Economic justice requires employee ownership. And if cuts need to be made, it must start at the top. Executives who care about their employees as much as they claim should be willing to make personal sacrifices for them, like a significant pay cut, so the entire company can prosper.
