in order to avoid the annoyance (and the discomfort) of pulling out and putting away his bow, mind wears it across his back. this has the added benefit of being quick to draw. his arrows and their quiver are bought from a specialty shop.

minds weapon retrieval (with external help). his bow is pulled from his spine. due to the awkward positioning and the ungainly shape, mind has great difficulty getting out his weapon quickly, especially by himself.

while it is easier for him, the process tends to make heart feel extremely nauseous. sometimes he throws up. usually, he manages to choke it down.

out of the three, he has the easiest time getting his weapon when he needs it. as a result, hes the only one of the three to actually store his weapon within his body most of the time; both soul and mind keep theirs out and held on their body externally.

soul typically keeps his trident out, turning the shaft of the weapon into rope and wrapping it around his waist in times of unuse. this is both pragmatic and functions well as a subtle threat

in order for any one of the three to retrieve their weapon, they have to grab through the skin and wrench the thing out. it can be a slow process without help, particularly due to how uncomfortable it is. it can be painful, at times. regardless, they bleed their own colour during and after, with a gash left in the skin that takes a few minutes to fade away.
