I think people are missing the BIG part of the *big beautiful bill.* Yes, the Medicaid cuts are horrific , but this bill turns us into a police state with a 30 billion dollar increased ICE budget. That number is higher than many countries' total military. It is the beginning of the end.

The heat will get them before the hurricanes. But that is the status quo in Florida where they don't air condition prisons either.

The idea that we can "easily" overthrow the regime in Iran is a fantasy of people that have never served. Afghanistan is back in the hands of the Taliban after 20 years of slaughter. Iraq still isn't peaceful. Libya is a war zone that's been in civil war since we dropped bombs. History is screaming!

No Kings Rally & March in a small bright red western North Carolina town with a population of 1200. Turn out 1500 people from surrounding towns.

I am already weary, and we have only just begun. Three and a half more years feels like a lifetime. We have to make the midterms count. Our lives, our children's lives, and the lives of the undocumented depend on it.

The people who are ICE watching and relaying information are so clutch right now. Grateful to every one.

Deploying the National Guard is a dangerous escalation meant to provoke chaos. In addition to the recent ICE raids in Southern California and across our nation, it is part of the Trump Administration’s cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division. This Administration’s actions are not about public safety —they’re about stoking fear. Fear of a community demanding dignity and due process. Protest is a powerful tool — essential in the fight for justice. And as the LAPD, Mayor, and Governor have noted, demonstrations in defense of our immigrant neighbors have been overwhelmingly peaceful. I continue to support the millions of Americans who are standing up to protect our most fundamental rights and freedoms.
