βThe assembly members worked hard to answer a vital question: how do we make sure local people arenβt shut out of decisions about climate and our future? I canβt wait to hear their answers. Please join me.β
Over the course of six meetings, the Assembly developed a set of recommendations and principles for good engagement.
This national online launch is your opportunity to hear more about the process, the principles, and recommendations the Assembly produced.
The Assembly brought together 42 randomly selected Cumbria residents to answer the question:

The aim of the panel was to take a different approach to discussing and dealing with issues associated with increased visitor pressures.
