I just learned about comprehensible input for language acquisition and now I feel a little less bad that after finishing greek and hebrew at seminary I can only translate it but still can't read it. Which sucks but like that's what we're set up to do I guess

On storygraph I often don't add certain books as "currently reading" and just go straight to "read" when I'm done, but it kinda sucks that books added like that don't end up in my "recently read" section

Another book I recently had to read for class was called "why I am not an arminian." I did not enjoy it, but as bad as the infernalist calvinism was in that book, it was not nearly as bad/confused as the arminianism they were critiquing

I read this in college and am reading it again for a class. Very much in the Reformed™ canon but I'm already noticing how this book has influenced me. It's probably culpable for forming me into the universal reconciliationist I am today
