We finally got at chance to go see the Winter Stations on Woodbine Beach. There were only four this year. First up is ‘Embrace’ by Will Cuthbert. The two giant rainbow stripes hands made of irregular round planar shapes, emerging from the beach and cupping the lifeguard station were very effective.🧵

I get so sad when I see good posts without alts, so I'm reluctant to share them. I've had multiple blind friends, and my eyes aren't so great myself (lovely for an artist to not be able to read unless it's 3 inches in front of her face). Alts don't have to be long. Just give some context.

For the theme #casket, here's the preliminary sketch and finished rendered drawing I did for a friend's short story collection (see comment).

I think it's possible to both celebrate what we're able to accomplish despite chronic physical and/or mental illness while at the same time mourning all that we didn't accomplish because of chronic physical and/or mental illness.
