Thistle wandered around unsteadily until he tripped. He couldn’t be bothered to get up so he just laid there.

Thistle blinked slowly at him, continuing to gnaw on his finger.

“…What….?” blood began to dribble down his finger, staining his teeth, “…Oh. No. I don’t need anything.”

He frowned slightly, “I hate gods. I do not trust them. The demon is a ‘god’.”

Thistle began chewing on his finger until it bled.

“…I… I miss him.”

“I have risen people from the dead many times before. Delgal’s soul is gone. Yaad’s soul is in his body instead. I cannot find his soul to put it back nor do I have enough mana. One can only revive someone if their soul is close enough.”

“Delgal is—dead. You cannot recover from being dead.”his voice cracked.

“It already did. You’re too late.” he stated into the distance, “…At least the Kingdom is still here…and Yaad, I suppose, in Delgal’s body like a ghost…”
