In Europe Ford's new model lineup pretty much all have EV options. Same with Vauxhall/Opel who used to be GM. Other brands are the same. It's cheaper to make an EV than force a petrol to comply with the upcoming Euro7 emissions.

Though some audiophile plants do print off quality runs.

Half speed mastered LPs running at 45 rpm can sound nice but you only get two tracks per side generally.

What everyone else said. Also, the manufacturing plants are generally ancient and just about hanging in there as well as being few in number, so quality ain't what it used to be.

Most people who buy vinyl seem to listen to it on cheapo turntables, so mastering quality isn't what it should be.

Charging at home is the best, but not everyone can - me included 😔
