Also why so many people don’t like jumpscare :| if you weren’t afraid you just feel cheated
And I do mean afraid, not disgusted or surprised. It’s easy to put something gross on screen or play a loud noise suddenly. Much harder to get someone invested so you can twist their own expectations about what’s going to happen
