No :( it's the the first three Gradius arcade games, the two arcade Life Force/Salamander, and the new Salamander 3. So no console games unfortunately

I hope they add the NES/Famicom ports like they did with the Contra collection, it's the superior version of Life Force and a substantially different take on Gradius II

Excited for this, I skipped over the Salamander 3 section though since I don't want to be spoiled

There is so much unused music in Ys I! The game was originally planned to be longer but since it was cut into two games, there's a lot of music that they couldn't fit in. Why they didn't hold off and use it for Ys II, who knows...

I read some commentary from one of the Hudson devs about how painful it was to try to squeeze as much Redbook music as possible into a single CD. They had to cut out a whole boss track!

it ended up on a Super Arrange album but I don't think this one ever got repurposed for any of the games!

I don't think it's used in the game itself actually! It doesn't appear in the sound test so if it is, it's hidden. It's just on the OST release.
