Rangers play Montreal tomorrow and NJ on Monday, both at home, and they don't play again until Friday after that. I think it's pretty likely they make a trade on Tuesday/Wednesday to give an acquisition a chance to acclimate at practice.

Of course, that's far too specific to put too much thought into. Truthfully I hope we keep Boeser, he's clearly a big piece of the room. If he wants too much though, Allvin would probably cut bait before the TDL.

It'd be an interesting deal because we don't *need* prospects right now unless they're NHL ready. Our window is the Hughes contract. There could be a 3 way deal to flip the prospect🤷‍♂️

Sorry, that'd be assuming you can get an extension for Brock upon a trade being made. You seem to need star-power up top, and Boeser fits that mold as a 2 way F who can score. Maybe Byram+Cozens is too optimistic, but if we move him then we need to get better around the base of our lineup, yk?

Especially after dealing Mitts for him last year. Would probably need a similar level forward to that in order to make a Byram trade worthwhile. I wonder if there's a Boeser+ for Cozens/Byram deal to be had if Canucks can't get a contract extension done by the deadline? Seems to fit both teams needs

I know he's not really available for trade, but it'd be nice to get a guy like him to help push the pace on the back end; especially with Hronek out for the foreseeable future. Used to watch him play quite a bit when he was with the Giants and I remember his heart always being there.

Does Byram usually play top pair/off side? If so, how's he looked of late?

If you want a stylistic comparison, Hughes plays the Hronek role of stabilizing and allowing his partner to roam, while Myers is essentially a less talented rookie Quinn Hughes. Not sure how it’ll work long term, but it’s pretty clearly the best chance to stop the bleeding with Hronek out

At times Toch would put them together when he would juggle all of his lines. Metrics haven’t been as good as the HH pair, but they haven’t been horrible. Hughes is less dynamic on this pair because he has to babysit, but Myers gets a little more leash to generate offence.

The goal should be .500 until we get Miller/Boeser back. In order we play: Ott, Bos and Pit (B2B), Buf, Det, and Min.

Ottawa just lost to Vegas and Edmonton so they'll be pissed but ideally we win that. The B2B sucks and Buffalo is our 3rd in 4 nights. I think we can go 3-2-1 but that's optimistic

I feel like it should be like that anyways. If you’re suspended without pay then you shouldn’t be allowed to represent the team in any capacity
