This is the No Kings rally for Norristown, PA. Norristown is the county seat of Montgomery County, PA. It has a large, vibrant Latino community that is being targeted heavily by ICE. If you're in the area - Saturday, June 14 - 12-2 at the courthouse.

That babe part always gets me. Like without it, it's still a horrible response. But it's like his Neanderthal mind thought "how can I make this 1000% worse"

I mean, he actually said to a female reporter, "it was 55 years ago, babe."

Don't forget the babe part.

I've said it a million times - he was a vile piece of shit.

crazy to me a whole generation of dudes heard pete rose lie about betting on baseball, then lie about not betting on the reds as a manager, then lie about not betting as a player, then finally heard him lie about the girls he preyed on, dusted off their hands, and went "well that's that i suppose"

I'll never understand how anyone can take one look at this guy and say he's the guy for anything health-related.

Pete Rose on critics of his appearance with the 1980 Phillies team: β€˜It was 55 years ago, babe.’ Rose was accused in a 2017 lawsuit of having a sexual relationship with an underage girl in the 1970s.

Pete Rose could hit a baseball. He was also a horrible human being. When asked about having sex with an underage girl - his response was 'It was 55 years ago, babe'.

I'd rather Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire get in than this vile POS.

And when @byalexcoffey.bsky.social asked him about it his defense: 'It was 55 years ago, babe'

Hearing the "liberal" former PM of Australia almost made me want to throw up.

I have to say, I would be fine with the Celtics losing if it weren't to the Knicks. God, I can't stand their fans.

It'll take a few more to earn back our trust - but I'm encouraged.

Laura Loomer, a far-right ally of Trump, said accepting Qatar's plane would be a "stain" on the administration, adding that Qatar
"fund the same Iranian proxies in Hamas and Hezbollah who have murdered US Service Members."

How bad does something have to be for even Laura Loomer to think it's wrong?

I honestly don't know all the members - I can imagine they might also share names with Eagles players.

@bugtype.bsky.social thanks for the Eagles feed - I love that I can limit my exposure to the other stuff through it. One suggestion for the feed, if possible, exclude posts that mention Don Henley, Glenn Frey - or any another member of the Eagles band. Might clean out some of those posts.

I can't remember the last time I saw a 3 inning save - awesome for Taijuan Walker. #Phillies

What a story from Carl Nassib, detailing a particular display of allyship from the Cleveland Browns’ offensive line before they even knew he was out. And kudos to Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor for channeling that same vibe. It’s what I saw in Tampa too.

Can I ask what happened? As a Phillies fan, I am not aware of what they did in the offseason- except losing Burnes. Just surprised with them this year - I thought they were set up for a longer run.

Even though Kepler has been hitting - they didn't need another left-handed hitter.

And the bullpen doesn't help. Maybe Wheeler can complete this?
