If you know, you know:
“A banana in the tail pipe, it stops the car from running.
How do you know that?
I grew up in the 80s.”
Jennifer Garner in “The Last Thing He Told Me.”

Tune in tomorrow! Looking forward to moderating this talk with @whiskeyocelot.bsky.social and @oliviersylvain.bsky.social.
Pups going potty in a blizzard is all the content I need today. How’s it going for the rest of y’all on the East Coast?
This is the truest thing I’ve seen here in a long time. 😂
Watching the hockey gold medal game. Not gonna lie, Heated Rivalry has changed my viewing experience. Certainly making me smile more. 😉 Any others?
So…is this what happens when AI replaces human illustrators and/or graphic designers? 🤦🏻♀️
😡
Am I the only one who teared up through now Naumov‘s entire skate tonight? I can’t imagine pushing through all that grief on such a public stage.

This behind-the-scenes look at Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl show leaves me even more blown away by the entire production. The reason for the grass people is kind of amazing. 😂
This sounds about as credible as “the dog ate my homework.”
Snowy Sunday morning read: “The Escape Artist” by @jonathanfreedland.bsky.social. This sentence hit me extra hard today. The human condition continues…
Hey guys, Angelina Jolie works for Amazon now and is trying to recruit me! She must really see my potential. And... is finally living up to hers.
I’ve had @cnn.com on for 2 hours. Haven’t seen a peep about this. The biggest synagogue in Mississippi—one that was also bombed by the KKK in 1967–was burned, police calling it arson. Not an interesting enough story for the American people to know about, even if motive not yet certain? Terrible.
And… TRO granted!
A sweet Christmas present for @imranahmed.bsky.social, @counterhate.com--& for their mission of fighting antisemitism & protecting kids online. Also nice for our all-star legal team.
A lump of coal in the stockings of authoritarians & the merchants of disinformation
BREAKING: WATCH the full 60 Minutes CECOT segment here. This was sent to me anonymously. It appears to be the segment CBS' Bari Weiss killed. www.muellershewrote.com/p/watch-the-...
I think it’s actually super endearing. He is so enthusiastic about it and fully admits he doesn’t know how it’s pronounced. Unlike the CNN dude who pretended like that was intentional.
1/2 While I appreciate @cnn.com's Harry Enten's attempt to act as if he intentionally chose a quirky spelling of Hanukkah/Chanukah, that's just plain old gaslighting. Somebody straight up screwed up. At least Smokey Robinson should feel a little bit vindicated. 😂
Antisemitic Trifecta➡️ When an antisemite uses an antisemitic book to make an antisemitic point. I normally wouldn’t amplify her, but can’t pretend she doesn’t exist or have a real following. This blatant antisemitism is f*ing dangerous. Hey Google: How much $ does she make from these YouTube videos?
this is a good reminder of how things that are shitty but have been accepted as normal and inevitable can actually turn out to be abnormal and evitable with some science, time, education and political will
This one left me scratching my head as well.
😂
(Accidental) twinning with my sidekick, Brixton. ‘Tis the season for red boots.
That’s very kind, thank you.
Original title of the piece: "Tech whistleblowers face million-dollar debts, job loss and isolation." (See screenshot above.)
Not loving the new title, which changed about 4 hours after the original, but I guess even the Washington Post has to chase that algorithm. Gift link: wapo.st/48V6Jni 4/4
...the risk takers, the democracy protectors & the helpers as much (or more) than we value these hugely rich and successful companies. Until then: I'll continue doing the work to shed light on & help protect against threats to our democracy, regardless of where those threats come from. 3/4
I believed Facebook leaders were making dangerous decisions affecting our public safety & democracy. Keeping silent was not an option for me. I was not surprised to see others highlighted in this article have that same resolve. My hope is that one day our society will value the truth sayers,... 2/4
🧵Speaking truth to power is never easy. I haven't spoken publicly much about the personal toll of my choice to speak out about my time working on election integrity issues at Facebook. But I was willing to share some details here. Despite the ensuing challenges, I say unequivocally: No regrets. 1/4
