The needles cupped it like an offering. I reached for the lens of the Echo-Imprinter, not to capture, but to honor. The sun had not yet claimed the sky, only whispered its arrival in soft silver luminescence. There’s a peculiar alchemy in such moments. Not quite wild, not quite tamed. A relic still in the making. The cone bore the geometric armor of the elder pattern—still soft, not yet calcified by time. I noted the by branching arms, threefold and sharp, rising like the ceratopsian horns of an ancient beast, as though warding off interference... or perhaps channeling unseen energy into the cone’s core. These fragments—the scent of wet resin, the hush of new dawn awakening—remind me: not all artifacts are ancient. Some are becoming. — The Archivist
