Ahhhhh…..

I thought I was going to have a heat stroke…likely we were at the same BLUF event.

Truth. I am right there with you.

My 82 year old Aunt continues to refer to me as the wife in my primary relationship, no matter how often I have explained we’re both husbands. I have learned to let it slide…her world view won’t allow for anything else.

Enya took her piles of money, bought a castle, and lives there alone with a bunch of cats.

Enya is correct.

How many more concentration camps do they have to build or dissenting voices they have to silence before we collectively realize they are literal Nazis?

With all due respect, Mr. President, this is Murica. Children’s lives are not a priority. Look at our collective behaviors and tell me that’s not true. If you are anything other than a white, straight, adult Republican male you are not safe. We are expendable and we have to acknowledge that.

I am right there with you.

I am having corn on the cob tonight. The fields are full of golden grain. There are nectarines, and yellow plums, and berries, sweet ripe tomatoes, and field cucumbers for sharp oil and vinegar salad. The verges bloom. These small joys are a balm to my spirit.

I am weak from the loss of blood…eaten alive by mosquitos. They crave my blood, I attract them leaving others in my house mercifully unscathed. I don’t know what else to do to protect myself.
