I am pretty sure that if someone politically came around, that was worth getting behind, I would seriously consider leaving academia and go to work for them. To me, that is what service to the people is all about.

I hear you. But I feel like we keep getting riled up by popular figures in the DP who SHOULD win, but don't. It has happened time and time again. Hillary, Kamala, Beto, Colin, and more. All the hope and hype in the world, but no results. We need substance, not flash. Both would be better.

If Kimmel and Stewart are next. Why not join forces with Colbert? Call it something original, like "the Man Show," where they take on "manly topics" like weak leaders whose ideas are butchering the very stability of the nation? Or they could talk about monster trucks or something. MMmm Trucks.
