Stories of Holocaust survivors rebuilding their lives take many forms. If you’ve read my posts about Jack Tramiel or Eddie Jaku, this one is different. Yehuda Bacon rebuilt his life through remembering, so the Holocaust would not be forgotten.

It’s not helping Palestinians to ignore the full context of the story. Not acknowledging the radicalism incentivizes it. It’s always rewarded with more demonization of Israelis. Unless this is acknowledged, the people who just want to live their lives remain trapped in a permanent loop of violence.

A neighborhood watch is a force multiplier for any problem: vandalism, car break-ins, package theft, harassment, even missing persons or elders who wander.
It turns isolated neighbors into a connected network that spots patterns early, reports faster, and makes the whole area harder to victimize.

And it correlates with the death of pan Arabism and the shift to pan Islamism which is not spiritual, but political. Listen to Yasmine Mohammed sometime and consider that there’s a lot we have not understood about this.

I believe people should have individual freedom but FFS, you’re comparing having to wear what amounts to a death shroud to wearing a little hat. Often in nations with insanely hot temperatures. And this wasn’t uniformly done in any Muslim country until the last 45 years.
