13.09.2025 12:59 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I miss Congress members with courage, integrity & the ability for independent thought.
02.07.2025 13:28 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Can't. That's the whole point of a budget reconciliation bill. If it's strictly about the budget, it can't be filibustered.
30.06.2025 19:07 โ ๐ 8 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I live in Tennessee, which just won a SCOTUS case banning gender affirming care for minors. The likelihood of my voice (or anyone else's that isn't attached to a 7 figure donation) having any impact on Blackburn or Hagerty is less than zero.
30.06.2025 16:48 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0For real. If I were Canadian, I'd be vacationing in Canada or Europe
12.06.2025 23:14 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Considering what Trump's doing to LA right now, this past aged quite well, if I do say so myself.
09.06.2025 23:14 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I don't care if Biden was rolling through the West Wing on a daily basis (he wasn't, THAT would have been big news & not kept secret for Tapper's Book of Exaggeration) - Joe got the job done, made sense in interviews except when ill & regularly went on long bike rides around Rehoboth Beach w/him.
17.05.2025 18:42 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Veterans are not a monolith. Yes, a large portion of vets vote GOP based on a false perception that the GOP is more supportive of the military and veterans. But that's not everyone. Many, MANY vets are Democrats. I'm married to one & know quite a lot of others in my family.
03.05.2025 12:28 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The Overpaid Trump Suck Up Society.
03.05.2025 12:18 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Republicans don't even have the guts to stop the damned tariffs. They're scare of their own shadows, at this point.
30.04.2025 23:32 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0You know, it would be really nice if a f*cking CARDINAL had actually read the Bible.
30.04.2025 23:29 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So that he can replace them with Holocaust deniers & white supremacists, of course.
29.04.2025 19:37 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Oh, yeah, and I agree that "economy" needs to be replaced with "agenda" or "policies".
29.04.2025 16:30 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'd go with billionaires & corporations first, American families last. Hit them where they live - that romantic vision of the proper American family - mom, dad, 2 kids, a dog & an SUV (replacing the previously required minivan full of soccer mom & kids)
29.04.2025 16:29 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0True. He's like a broken clock.
29.04.2025 16:26 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm Jewish. I learned from my 1880's born Ukrainian Bubbe. No lessons required. But I HATE mushy food. Waaaah.
17.04.2025 21:05 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Well I guess I just bought my last package of fresh spinach.

17.04.2025 20:55 โ ๐ 14 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It's sad that Bondi & the entirety of Team Trump are such garbage that this kind of thing flies around the internet as if it were true.
16.04.2025 16:11 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0And yet, is already generally not eligible.
14.04.2025 14:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I know that & you know that, but the hoards of MAGAs & their "crunchy mom" vaxx denying cousins do not know that. We've become a nation of gullible idiots drowning in confirmation bias.
11.04.2025 22:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Plus, really, if we're going to "solve" a serious condition in mere months, why not something life-threatening like breast, colorectal or lung cancer? Leukemia?
11.04.2025 19:49 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Exactly. There are decades of actual scientific/medical research on autism that have not successfully pinpointed a specific cause, but a bunch of people who don't believe in the practice of medicine or in science are going to come up with a cause in mere months? Pffft.
11.04.2025 19:49 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Solid analogy.
11.04.2025 19:38 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Every word of this. I know that Trump seems untouchable, given the SCOTUS immunity ruling, but his underlings are decidedly NOT immune. Haul their asses into court and jail them for contempt if they don't bring answers.
11.04.2025 19:37 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Also notable, which some ppl may have forgotten: so did Paul Ryan, the GOP's Ayn Rand poster child. He, too, was raised on survivor's benefits.
11.04.2025 19:32 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Dad died of a massive coronary at age 42. Mom had some insurance money from him on top of SS & VA & her dad gave $5K for a downpayment on a house - her inheritance, basically. We weren't poor but was a lot of bill juggling & frugal spending that only got worse when brother started college.
11.04.2025 19:30 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0At least one parent, in fact, not necessarily both. I received SS survivor's benefits until I turned 18 because my dad died when I was 9. He was a WWII vet, so I got a small stipend from the VA until I was 23 while I attended college.
11.04.2025 01:06 โ ๐ 25 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It absolutely is. The challenge is to get the at least two of the right wing nut jobs on the court to agree.
