I've finally settled on calling this little AU "Everybody's Friends", the tagline for the franchise in this AU.

-Dyle didn’t get the chance to interact with the others that much. So post-show, he’s still kinda lonely. He was a movie exclusive after all. (5/5)

Dyle is then never seen again in media. No toys, no merch, no other media appearances. The most he gets is an appearance in a children’s book retelling of the movie which coincided with the movie’s release. Plus the fact the movie came out towards the twilight years of the show- (4/4)

-which is the characte’s main method of transportation in the movie. At the end of the movie, Dyle departs, saying something like “I look forward to seeing you again someday“ to Dandy and the mains. He gives Dandy his whistle trinket as something to remember him by, and he leaves. (3/3)

-where he was an important side character. Plot of the movie is basically Dandy and the mains going on an adventure to save Gardenview (the town they live in) from the big bad’s scheme, and Dyle is a character who joins them on the journey. He’s a train conductor who operates a magical train- (2/3)

So, ramble time.

I wanted to keep that whole “never appeared in the show“ thing for Dyle, but wanted to go about it in a different way. Basically, he didn’t appear in the show, but he did appear in a movie. He was a movie exclusive character made for a direct to DVD movie- (1/3)

I didn’t change much about his design. I just changed his suit to look more like a train conductor!

I ramble about his role in this sorta AU below, but yeah. Dyle!
