Baltimore 5th-12th grade students took to the stage to share their vision for a better tomorrow during the 8th annual Dream Big Contest at the Lyric Baltimore.
We'll hear from the finalists, who created poems, essays, videos and visual art work.
On this day in 1963 William Lewis Moore, a white postal worker from Baltimore, was shot and killed during a solo march against segregation in Alabama. Moore embodied radical nonviolence and moral courage and we remember his sacrifice—and carry forward his call for justice.
