While the bill did not pass, the fact that she got as far as she got and that so many MSPs voted for it is an achievement. It is no longer a taboo to advocate for an abolitionist framework.
I commend Ash Regan MSP on her impressive campaign to pass a human rights centered and evidence based bill to address demand for sexual acts and better protect the women and girls that are victims of #prostitution.
